Livingston £ Dependant on experience (£17 - £20k with quarterly bonus if team targets achieved) 

Working hours 
8.30am – 5pm Monday to Thursday
8.30am – 4pm Friday
Reporting to Sales Office Manager – Julie Murphy

Entrotec is UK market leader in designing and manufacturing Door Entry, Access Control electronic security solutions.

Due to continued growth we are looking for new team members for our highly successful sales department. The post-holder 'Sales co-ordinator' will be responsible along with dedicated External Sales Person for meeting quarterly and annual sales targets by responding to all in-coming administrative and technical sales enquiries to the sales department, for their region. Preparing technical quotations, converting quotes and co-ordinating all details relating to the client requirements. Pro-active sales activity will need to be conducted and logged with client management system.

As this is a technical sale, ongoing and full induction training will be provided.

MAIN DUTIES:

1. To respond quickly and efficiently to all in-coming sales enquiries, by telephone and email.

2. To follow up all enquiries, preparing technical quotes

3. Promotion of our products to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach

4. Assisting in implementing the sales strategy as set by the Sales Director, with dedicated External Sales representative including strategies for encouraging repeat business and up-selling

Administration

1. To record the progress of all enquiries which will contribute to a monthly report which Is led by External Sales Rep. this will include future predicted sales and other

2. Administer order and specific client information to production

3. Provide reports as directed by the sales manager

4. Ensure an efficient tracking system of all client request and project paper-work

5. Up-keep of a client database – updating where necessary to allow effective promotions

Other

1. To liaise at all times with all team members and work as a team to reach targets set by the Sales Office Manager

2. To respect and act courteously and professionally with other departments

3. To provide input and ideas into marketing initiatives and subsequently promote these initiatives

4. To wear appropriate business dress at all times

5. To constantly promote the launch of new products to existing and new clients.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Full training will be provided.

Experience in selling engineering, technical or electronic solutions would be a huge advantage but not essential.

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required in order to make the client experience a success.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

The job holder is the first point of contact for the client experience and must therefore create a positive and enthusiastic first impression. They must be willing to work as part of a team, communicating with their own department and other departments at all times. The job holder must have a confident yet reassuring manner with clients and colleagues at all times. Good team player and excellent telephone skills are essential

MENTAL DEMANDS

JUDGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING:

The jobholder will sometimes be required to make quick decisions relating to client requests. The job holder must be assertive in doing this but must also know when to advise that an immediate decision cannot be made – rather than promising something that cannot be delivered.

ORIGINAL THOUGHT AND PROBLEM SOLVING:

The jobholder will need to liaise well with all team members to ensure that the optimum solution is given to any problem which might arise.

CONCENTRATION:

Attention to detail is essential at all times to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction.

Time management is of the essence and the job holder must be confident that they can deal with a number of things at any one time and constantly re-evaluate priorities.
