MultiCom System
Multicom is a DDA compliant door entry system that allows an unlimited number of single button call panels to call up to three handsets or apartment stations. Multicom is ideal for public buildings, schools, libraries and car parks, and can be used as “help points” in shopping centres, superstores and railway stations.
Multicom can be used as a one to one audio, or twisted pair colour video, door entry system for residents’ front doors as an audio doorbell system. The call panel can also be incorporated into existing Entrotec door entry systems. A Multicom panel may be fitted in line with an existing handset within a flat to provide communication from the resident’s front door without the need to fit a further handset. The call panels are manufactured with either Entrotec’s pressure sensitive buttons or with vandal resistant moving barrel call buttons, both with DDA compliant yellow contrasting rings. Multicom call panels come with an LED call progress indicator that shows Calling, Speak Now, Door Open and System Busy.
